Our Major Contributors are an incredible group of people who have come alongside us to help our dream of building a park to celebrate children become to reality. It would not be here without their ongoing generosity & investment in the park!
During our Phase I & Phase II campaigns, the names for our levels of contribution came from 1 Corinthians 3:11-12 & Revelations 21:19-20. In 1 Corinthians it says, “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.” Then it talks about building on the foundation with gold, silver and costly stones. Revelations further describes the costly stones as “the foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone… the second sapphire,… the fourth emerald,… and the twelfth amethyst.” Jesus Christ is the foundation for all we do and we want to build on that foundation in a way that displays God’s glory.
As we maintain and operate Alison’s House and partner with the City of Tyler to keep the park beautiful, we welcome new Major Contributors to our team.
